DEVOUT: best wishes, explores the repetitive use of prescribed slang and esoteric symbols between friends and loved ones. The use of cryptic discourse and iconography manifests itself into a language system only understood by the selected few. This phenomenon of codified intimacy is explored through narrated artworks including video, paint, cross-stitch and installation as both artists release and share their own intimate codes and languages to an audience.
