Lowkey Lounge Night

Friday night saw the first Lowkey Lounge Night operate out of the Milton space.
It was a chilled affair, with many familiar faces, as the gallery was transformed into what looked like a huge lounge room, complete with shag pile carpet. Nachos and burritos, accompanied by cans of beer, kept the guests belly's full whilst the skate videos were projected up onto the big screen. The relaxed atmosphere allowed many people to bring their kids along, and it was great to see several generations of Brisbane skaters getting stoked on skate films spanning over nearly four decades.
The night was a great success, and it gave the opportunity for skaters, both young and old, to share stories of their adventures, and talk about what riding a board means to them.
There's sure to be another Lowkey Lounge Night in the not too distant future, so keep your eyes peeled and on the blog for updates and info.

  1. Friends forever! What a blog. Very inspirational article. I think beginner riders must like the Blog to know some more about Gold Coast Longboards
